Jeev tied at 17th spot
NAGOYA (JAPAN),
MARCH 24.
Jeev Milkha Singh shot six birdies and five bogeys to card one-under 70 in the first round of the 100 million Yen Token Homemate Cup at the par-71 Token Tado Country Club golf here.
Jeev playing his first event in Japan this calendar year is lying tied 17th with two locals Hiroyuki Fujita and Takahiro Takahashi sharing the lead with five-under 66 each.
The first event of the Japan Tour was held in December last year as a co-sanctioned event with Asian Tour.
Jeev had finished tied second after leading well into the final round. PTI
