Jharkhand: Opposition walks out during Governor's address

By A Correspondent

RANCHI, MARCH 24. Claiming that the Governor, Syed Sibtey Razi's address to the House was an unconstitutional act without the proper constitution of the State Cabinet, the Opposition in the Jharkhand Assembly today staged a walkout.

As soon as the Governor started addressing the House on the first day of three-day long session, the Opposition members objected vociferously on the ground that unless the State Cabinet was constituted properly, the Governor's address amounted to a gross violation of norms.

However, the Governor continued his speech. Subsequently the Opposition walked out raising slogans.
