TRAI seeks time to respond to VSNL's appeal
NEW DELHI,
MARCH 24.
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has asked for more time to reply to the points raised by VSNL in its appeal challenging TRAI's order on regulating prices of international bandwidth.
The Telecom Dispute Settlement and Appellate Tribunal has asked TRAI, which had reduced the international bandwidth prices by up to 70 per cent, to file a reply on VSNL's petition by March 27 and fixed March 29 for the next hearing. VSNL had challenged TRAI's regulation on bandwidth prices, saying the issue should not be looked at in isolation. PTI
