Venkat Sundaram to inspect Kochi pitch

KOCHI, MARCH 24. The chairman of the BCCI's pitches and grounds committee Venkat Sundaram will inspect the Nehru Stadium wicket here on Friday and have another look at the ground which will host the India-Pakistan cricket one-dayer on April 2, according to the Kerala Cricket Association secretary S. Haridas.

Meanwhile, arrangements have been made to sell the special chair tickets (Rs. 2,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 5,000) at the Nehru Stadium, with State Bank of Travancore being closed on March 25 (Good Friday) and March 27 (Sunday), said the Kochi one-day match convener T.C. Mathew. — PTI
