Accident
The police identified the dead as Ambanna Pingale (30) and Kallappa Yalagi (30), residents of Lingadalli village in Indi taluk. The injured have been admitted to the civil hospital here.
Ganja seized
Over 30 kg of the narcotic was recovered from their house. Gyanoba, his sister and her husband were reportedly receiving the narcotic from Andhra Pradesh and were selling it to people in Mumbai and Pune. The police also seized 235 kg of ganja from the house of Subhash Rathod in Chintamai tanda. Cases have been registered at the Aurad, Santhpur and Chintaki police stations.

The woman was reportedly found dead in the toilet when it was broken open with the court's permission. She is suspected to have committed suicide by injecting herself a poisonous substance with the help of a syringe, which was reportedly found in her vanity bag. Her identity has not yet been established. The Jaynagar Police have registered the case.
