PATHANAMTHITTA, MARCH 24. The Lord Ayyappa Temple at Sabarimala was opened this afternoon for tomorrow's annual Uthram festival. The Tantri, Kantaru Mohanaru, assisted by the Melshanti, V. Muraleedharan Namboodiri, will lead the rituals. Kalabhabhishekom will be performed on the occasion, besides `padi' puja, `udayasthamana' puja and `pushpabhishekom' tomorrow. The temple will be closed after `athazha' puja later in the evening.

Nirmalya darshan: 5 a.m. Abhishekom: 5.10 a.m. Ganapati homam: 5.15 a.m. Neyyabhishekom: 5.30 a.m. to 11 am Kalabhabhishekom: 11.30 a.m. Utcha puja: 12.15 p.m. Closing of sanctum sanctorum: 12.30 p.m. Opening of sanctum sanctorum: 5 p.m. Deeparadhana: 6.45 p.m. Padi puja: 8 p.m. Pshpabhishekom: 7 p.m. Athazha puja: 9.30 p.m. Harivarasanam: 10 p.m.
