Panicker, Vellappally to share dais

ALAPPUZHA, MARCH 24. The Nair Service Society (NSS) general secretary, P.K. Narayana Panicker, and the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary, Vellappally Natesan, will share the dais for the first time in the district at a function being organised by NSS Karayogam number 1365, Neerkunnam, here on March 25.

According to the Karayogam president, P. Purushothama Kaimal, Mr. Panicker will inaugurate the Navathi memorial shopping complex of the Karayogam at 4 p.m. Mr. Natesan will inaugurate a public meeting in connection with the ceremony. The Karayogam president said the sharing of dais by the NSS and SNDP Yogam leaders had special significance in the context of the unity moves of the organisations.

The Ambalappuzha MLA and Sree Narayana Trust executive committee member, D. Sugathan, will deliver the keynote address. The Ambalappuzha block panchayat president, Shobha Gopinath; the Ambalappuzha North grama panchayat president, H. Abdul Salam; and the NSS Ambalappuzha taluk union vice-president, K.K. Padmanabha Pillai; will offer felicitations.
