Dr. Reddy's launches drug for osteoarthritis
HYDERABAD: Dr. Reddy's Laboratories announced the launch of Celadrin, a product that helps reduce pain and inflammation in patients with osteoarthritis and other joint related problems, through an alliance with Cymbiotics (U.S.). According to a release, Celadrin was developed by Imagenetix (IAGX) of the U.S., and is licensed to Cymbiotics. Satish Reddy, Managing Director of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, said the company was emerging as a `partner of choice' for many innovators in health care on account of its strong brand equity and extensive reach in the Indian market. Celadrin would enhance the treatment options available to medical practitioners in India, he said.
