Garden Snacks enters Karnataka market
BANGALORE: The Mumbai-based Garden Snacks is entering the southern region through Karnataka and has targeted sales of nearly Rs. 10 crores for the next 12 months. The company on Wednesday launched 25 varieties of snacks for the Karnataka market. According to its Director, Jatin Bheda, the products are in the price range of Rs. 2 to Rs. 50 and price-wise was competitive to the only other organised pan-India snacks manufacturer, Haldirams. Mr. Bheda said that Garden Snacks had 65 per cent market share in Gujarat and Maharashtra in the organised snacks distribution network. Last year, it had registered a turnover of Rs. 25 crores.
