Union Bank opens branch, ATM
MANGALORE: Union Bank of India had already started operating satellite branches in 25 different places to cater to the rural and interior areas, Executive Director of the bank, Rathnakar Hegde, told a press conference here on Thursday. Mr. Hegde, who recently took over as Executive Director of the bank, earlier opened a branch and an ATM at Bangra Kulur near here. The satellite branches would operate on one or two days in a week depending on the need, he added. The bank will soon open offices in Dubai and Doha.
