MADIKERI, MARCH 24. The Kutta police in Virajpet taluk of Kodagu, on Thursday, arrested Tamilara Koosa alias Ananda Kumar, a labourer, on charges of allegedly raping a 11-year-old speech impaired girl at a plantation in Kutta on Wednesday, according to information reaching here. The girl had gone to a nearby plantation to answer nature's call. Koosa, who was working in the plantation, allegedly dragged the girl and raped her. When the girl did not return home on time, her mother went in search of her. The Kutta police are investigating.
