BELLARY, MARCH 24. Various Bar associations in Bellary district want to be brought under the proposed Circuit Bench of the Karnataka High Court to be set up at Hubli-Dharwad. The office-bearers of Bar associations in Bellary, Hagari Bommanahalli, Sandur, Hospet, Kudligi, Sirguppa, who met with N. Ayyappa, President of the Bellary Bar Association, here on Wednesday, said that they wanted to be brought under the Circuit Bench at Hubli-Dharwad and not that in Gulbarga. The meeting decided that a delegation of office-bearers of all Bar associations in the district will meet the three-member committee of judges that will visit Hubli-Dharwad on Saturday. The delegation will also submit a memorandum supporting their demand to the Chief Minister and Law Minister, said Uded Basavaraj, former Chairman of the Karnataka State Bar Council.
