KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 24. In support of the Singareni Collieries employees, the Ramagundam municipal council members, including the chairman, B. Rajalingam and the Congress councillors participated in the relay strike in front of the SCCL Ramagundam division general manager's office on Thursday. They demanded implementation of seventh wage board recommendations for coal workers. The municipal chairman, Rajalingam said the employees were being denied the wage board recommendations for three and half years. He also said that INTUC was also striving to prevail upon the Government to implement the recommendations as early as possible.
