NIZAMABAD, MARCH 24. Senior IAS officer, J.C. Sarma, who has been appointed as supervisory officer (Special Collector) for the district has expressed satisfaction over the implementation of various programmes by the administration. Talking to reporters here on Thursday, he said he was visiting the district to give directions to the district administration on effective execution of schemes. Supporting the Government decision to appoint Special Collectors for certain districts in the State, he said it would be useful because the senior officers could share their experiences with district authorities in solving problems. Mr. Sarma had a review meeting with the district Collector, D.V. Raidu and senior police officers on the welfare programmes. He was happy at the Grama Darsini (village visit) by district authorities. En route the district headquarter town he visited Darmaraopet village in Sadasivnagar mandal to inspect percolation tank digging works.
