SRR College may get e-classroom

KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 24. The district administration is planning to establish an electronic classroom in the SRR Government Degree College in Karimnagar town.

The Collector, C. Parthasarathi, who visited the college on Thursday, said a proposal would be submitted to the Government for the opening of an electronic classroom at a cost of Rs. 10 to 12 lakhs in the college. He also inspected the Dr. Ambedkar Open University regional centre which is under construction in the campus. He later visited the bio-technology department's tissue culture lab in the college.

Earlier, the Collector launched preparation of the vermi compost in a pit at the college grounds.

He said that the vermi compost would be prepared in the pit by dumping municipal waste and storing it for some time.

The municipal chairman, V. Hanumantha Reddy, the commissioner, N Satyanarayana, and the college principal, B. Ramchander Rao, were present.
