Stamps released

CHENNAI, MARCH 24 . The Department of Posts today released a block of four postage stamps, in the denomination of Rs.5, on the "flora and fauna of North East India".

The stamps depict clouded leopard, mishmi Takin, Dillenia India Linn and the pitcher plant. The stamps, first day covers, and information brochures are available at all philatelic bureaux/counters, says a release from the Chief Postmaster-General, Tamil Nadu Circle, Chennai.
