Bidar
By Our Staff Correspondent
BIDAR, MARCH 26. Members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad protested against the education and foreign policies of the United Progressive Alliance in Bidar on Saturday. Protestors marched in a rally shouting slogans against the Government, burnt effigies representing the Union Government and submitted a memorandum. They blamed the Government for taking what they called a non-serious view of terrorism and related problems. The decision to allow private foreign universities to set up base in India amounts to turning education into a commodity to be sold in the open market, the memorandum said.
