HYDERABAD, MARCH 26. Hyderabad will now be connected to Singapore and Bangkok with the Indian Airlines starting two direct international flights. The flight to Singapore will be thrice a week on Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays while the Bangkok flight will be operated on Wednesday, and Saturdays, the Indian Airlines Area Marketing Manager, K.S. Reddy told reporters here on Friday. The Singapore flight will depart Hyderabad at 5.30 a.m. and arrive at Singapore at 12.50 p.m. (local time). In the return direction the flight is operated on the same days leaving Singapore at 1.50 p.m. (local time) and arriving Hyderabad at 4 p.m. The Bangkok flight would leave Hyderabad at 1.55 p.m. and arrive at Bangkok at 6.45 p.m. (local time) and leave Bangkok at 11.20 a.m. (local time) to reach Hyderabad at 1.20 p.m, Mr. Reddy said. In addition to these direct flights, passengers from Hyderabad can also take connecting flights to Bangkok from Hyderabad via Bangalore or Chennai. Passengers can catch the morning flight IC 916 to Bangalore and take the connecting flight IC 685 to Bangkok. Alternatively, one could take IC 952 or IC 946 in the morning to Chennai and travel to Bangkok by IC 689, he added. Briefing the air operations from Hyderabad, Mr. Reddy said the Indian Airline was operating 112 flights per week - 88 on domestic sectors and 24 on international sectors.
