ISLAMABAD, MARCH 27. Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) sees a great opportunity for firms to advertise their wares along the route of the Muzaffarabad-Srinagar bus service scheduled to begin from April 7. Terming it as a `historical occasion' the PoK Government through an advertisement in prominent dailies here has invited firms/companies with `vast experience' in dealing with national/multinational companies for handling their commercial advertisement through display of signs, hoardings, floodlight boards along the highway on its side. Urging the potential parties to `rush, rush, rush' for the historic occasion, the advertisement said, ``restoration of Muzaffarabad-Srinagar bus service provides a unique opportunity for travellers, tourists, visitors and traders to visit Muzaffarabad, Chakothi and other parts of Azad Kashmir. The roadside areas along the route would draw special attention of tourists and a thus a substantial potential for commercial advertisement exists.'' It said tentative potential sites had already been identified and would be immediately made available to successful bidders on lease by the Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad/Highway Department of PoK. Interested parties have been asked to file their proposals by April 4.
