Re-post mortem on TDP activist's body conducted

ANANTAPUR, MARCH 27. Re-post mortem was conducted on the mortal remains of M. Eeswaraiah, TDP activist who was killed along with Paritala Ravindra and his gunman, D. Mahabub Basha, on January 24, at Dharmavaram on Sunday.

A team of doctors, headed by the Head of Forensic Medicine Department of the Government Medical College, Kurnool, L.C. Obulesu, conducted the re-post mortem. The re-post mortem was learnt to have confirmed the first post-mortem findings that a bullet had pierced through the right side of his chest and left side of his back.

Media was not allowed to the site of re-post mortem. A team of CBI sleuths was also present.

The re-post mortem on the mortal remains of Mahabub Basha will be conducted on Monday.

Meanwhile, the district police have taken special security measures like preventing the flow of Congress activists and followers of G. Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri into Anantapur town on Monday when Suri will be produced in court.
