NELLORE, MARCH 28. The Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, P. Lakshmi, has promised a fair deal to aqua farmers of Nellore district. Addressing a convention at the Town Hall, here on Monday, the Minister said that she would strive for the early clearance of applications for subsidy, submitted by the aqua farmers to the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA). She also promised that the MPEDA office at Vijayawada would be shifted to Nellore town. In addition, an aqua research centre would also come up at Nellore.
