ADILABAD, MARCH 28. The Adilabad District Collector, J. Sudha Rani, has been appointed Special Officer of the Adilabad Municipality as the term of the civic body expired on Monday. According to an order issued by the State Government, the Joint Collector, A. Dinakar Babu, is the Special Officer for Bellampalli Municipality, while the RDOs of Mancherial, B.V.V.S. Murthy and Nirmal Ashok Kumar, are special officers for these municipalities, respectively. The Mancherial RDO will also be the Special Officer for Mandamarri Muncipality and the Asifabad Sub-Collector, Saurabh Gaur, will be the special officer for Kagaznagar Municipality. There is one more month for the term of the Bhainsa Municipality to expire. Our Karimnagar Staff Reporter writes: With the completion of the five-year tenure of the Karimnagar, Jagtial, Sircilla and Korutla Municipalities on Monday, the Government issued orders appointing Special Officers for the respective municipalities. The Collector, C Parthasarathi has been appointed Special Officer of the Karimnagar Municipal Council, while the Joint Collector, Christiana, for the Jagtial Municipality, and the Sircilla RDO, Nagender, for Sircilla Municipality. All the special officers would assume charge on Tuesday.
Upgradation for Karimnagar
On the other hand, the State Government has decided to upgrade the Karimnagar Municipal Council to corporation status and orders to this effect would be issued in a day or two, according to official sources. Our Nizamabad Staff Reporter writes: The Divisional Forest Officer, Kamareddy, Raman Goud, has been appointed Special Officer of Kamareddy Municipality by the district Collector, D.V. Raidu. Mr. Goud assumed charge today with the term of the Municipal Council coming to an end, according to official information.
