KOZHIKODE, MARCH 28. Young Challengers defeated Independence Buds 3-0 in the Videocon Kozhikode District `A' Division football league here on Monday. Sharfeed (two) and Satheesh were the scorers. In `C' Division, Luna thrashed Excellent 5-1. Saheer (two), Dinesh (two) and Rineesh did the scoring for the winner, while Rameesh pulled one back for Excellent. Kerala Soaps beat Junior Youth 2-1. Anas scored both goals for the winner while Mohammed Shafeeq was the scorer for Youth. Then, Diamond Winners beat Railview 3-2. Adbul Salim (two) and Abdul Rashid struck for Diamond while Mineesh and Madhu slotted home for for Railview.
