Never a separatist, says Naidu
HYDERABAD: The TDP president, N. Chandrababu Naidu, on Monday denied that he was arrested for participating in the separate Andhra agitation which rocked the State in the early Seventies and challenged TRS members to prove it. Responding to a comment made to this effect by Padma Devender Reddy (TRS) during a debate on GO 610, he said he had challenged the TRS leader, K. Chandrasekhara Rao, when he made a similar comment in the past, adding "it is not a fact." On the demand of Mrs. Padma that the TDP clarify whether it was for a separate or a unified State, Mr Naidu reiterated that his party was for a unified State.
