Congress to launch `Praja Patham'
By Our Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD,
MARCH 28.
The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has finalised a mass contact programme in the name of `Praja Patham' to monitor the implementation of Government programmes.
The CLP meet was addressed by the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, and the PCC president, K. Keshava Rao, here on Monday.
Later addressing a press conference, the Chief Whip, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, whips, D. Sridhar Babu and S. Udaya Bhanu, and the CLP secretary, E. Pratap Reddy, said the aim of the programme was to bring in accountability to the administration. It was different from Janmabhoomi which, they alleged, was meant to deliver promises and keep people under illusion. The `Praja Patham' would be an interactive session for people with MLAs, MPs and local body leaders.
