SANGAREDDY, MARCH 28. Y. Latha, a resident of Gambhirpur in Dubbak mandal of Medak district, who married Y. Laxminarayana under the watchful eyes of Janashakti naxalites on March 1, died this morning under suspicious circumstances. According to Ramnarayan Reddy, DSP of Siddipet, Latha died in her in-laws house. A complaint has been lodged by her husband that she consumed poison. On the other hand, parents of Latha, who sought the help of naxalites to perform the marriage, alleged that their daughter was tortured for more dowry and poisoned. The police are awaiting the postmortem report.
