BJP for house site pattas for poor

By Our Correspondent

ADILABAD, MARCH 28. The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday sought free house site pattas for the poor and also pattas for lands on which the poor were living at present.

These demands were made at an open forum organised by the Adilabad district unit of the BJP in front of the District Collectorate as part of its Statewide programme named `Yekkada nivasam-akkada avasam.' The party leaders pointed out that the Government was making a mockery of issuing house site pattas. If the beneficiary was an ordinary resident of Adilabad town, he was being given house sites at a distance of over 10 km. Similarly, under relevant orders, house sites for the poor were being charged the respective market prices.

Such practices should go, the leaders said. The BJP (West) district presisdent, T. Narayan Reddy, general secretary Avula Raghavendranath Yadav, Mahila Morcha president Nivedita Vaze and Adilabad Assembly constituency in charge, M.Ramana Reddy, were present.
