Partly cloudy

CHENNAI, MARCH 28. The sky will be partly cloudy on Tuesday. The maximum temperature will be around 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 26 Degrees Celsius.

On Monday, Nungambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 26.6 degrees Celsius. The humidity was 76 per cent. Meenambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 35.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25.6 degrees Celsius. The humidity was 82 per cent.

Power shutdown

Power supply will be suspended in parts of VSI Estate, including Elango Nagar, Old Mahabalipuram Road and Ramalinga Nagar on Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for maintenance work.

Dental camp

About 170 inmates of Rising Star, an old age home, at Tiruvanmiyur were screened at a dental camp organised by S.R.Dental Clinic, Alwarpet on Sunday.

Career fair

for students

An exhibition-cum-seminar, `Career Fair-2005', will be organised at Good Shepherd Hall for Standard 10 and Plus-Two students from May 13 to 15. Free career counselling will be given at the fair in which 90 educational institutions are participating.
