HYDERABAD, MARCH 28 . A woman and her 25-year-old son were found hanging in separate bedrooms in their house under the Chikkadpally police limits on Sunday night. A. Hanuma(45), a divorcee, was residing at Ashoknagar along with her son, Suresh. The police said that Hanuma had not been keeping well for the last few months and often showed suicidal tendencies. She is believed to have locked herself in her bedroom while Suresh was away and hanged herself to the ceiling fan. Minutes later, Suresh returned home. When he found that his mother had locked her room and there was no reply, he grew suspicious. He telephoned his relative, Suryanarayana Murthy, who resides at Parsigutta, and told him that Hanuma had committed suicide and that he too was ending his life, as he would not be able to live without her. Immediately, Mr. Murthy started for Hanuma's house. When he reached the place, he found the main door locked. With the help of the watchman and few others, they broke open the window (next to the door) and found Suresh hanging. Meanwhile, the police arrived and broke open the door of Hanuma's bedroom. She too was found hanging. Hanuma's husband, Subba Rao, had divorced her about 10 years ago. They had two children. After divorce, Subba Rao left along with the elder son while Hanuma was staying with their second son. Hanuma, previously worked as a Programmer with Doordarshan. Suresh, who passed his MBA was working with American Bank.
