Man found murdered

HYDERABAD, MARCH 28. Decomposed body of an unidentified person, aged between 25 and 30, was found on Osmania University campus on Sunday night. The victim's throat was slit.

The body was found in bushes in the open and isolated land behind the Indo-American Centre for International Studies (IACIS) on the campus.

It is believed that he might have been done to death at least three days ago.

He was clad in blue jeans and a brown coloured shirt with blue and white stripes. A `panchaloha' ring was found on one of his fingers. Bloodstains were found on the soil and a granite stone near the site.

Also, two scooter keys were found with a hacksaw blade hanging to it. Smeared bloodstains were found on the blade, which the police suspect to have been used in the offence. A broken liquor bottle was also found.

As the body was highly decomposed, post-mortem was conducted on the spot itself. The CLUES team visited the scene.
