Indian Youth team triumphs

CHENNAI, MARCH 29. Indian Youth team won the 23rd Memorial Ferruccio Cornacchia international volleyball tournament, defeating Hungary `A' 25-20, 25-22, 18-25, 25-21 in the final at San Giorgio Di Porcia, Italy, on Monday. Having topped the pool beating Hungary `B' and Germany, India, which is preparing for the Asian championship, downed Bulgaria 25-20, 25-22, 25-18 in the semifinals. Setter Gurpreet and blocker Pradeep put up a good show.
