Need for regulation

Sir, — This refers to the article "Exposes and stings" (Magazine, March 27). Every television channel wants to convert news into a sensation and sensation into news. As the article rightly argues, there should be some regulatory mechanism. But the media should also be more responsible and help solve people's issues instead of cashing in on them.
