Terri Schiavo case

Sir, — Terri Schiavo's case is not just one of religion or politics. The right to life is fundamental to all human beings. By giving a man the legal sanction to murder his wife, the American courts have set a dangerous precedent.

Sir, — Once a human being is reduced to a vegetable, in an irrevocable manner, the least the family and society can do is to give him or her some dignity in death.
