CUDDALORE, MARCH 29. The Neyveli Lignite Corporation has organised a month-long special coaching session for students of Neyveli, particularly the Scheduled Caste and Tribe students, appearing for the Tamil Nadu Professional Colleges Entrance Examinations (TNPCEE). At the inaugural session, the NLC Director (Personnel), R. Narasimhan, stressed the need for commitment, involvement and discipline on the part of the candidates attending the classes. The organisers said that it was for the 24th year that the NLC was organising the event in coordination with the Coaching-cum-Guidance Centre for SC/ST, under the Directorate General of Employment and Training, Government of India. The number of candidates enrolled for the classes touched 450 (of them 200 belong to SC/ST) as against last year's strength of 103 (83 SC/ST candidates).
