PONDICHERRY, MARCH 29. A total of 11,662 candidates are taking the SSLC (X) public examination which began here today. This includes 5,733 boys and 5,929 girls hailing from nearly 145 schools in Pondicherry region, according to the Chief Educational Officer C. Krishnaraj. Pondicherry and Karaikal in the Union Territory of Pondicherry follow the Tamil Nadu curriculum for the higher secondary school public examinations.
