CAMPCO official suspended

MANGALORE,
MARCH 29.
The Managing Director of Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative Ltd. (CAMPCO) has suspended R. Sridhar, Deputy General Manager, CAMPCO Chocolate Factory, Puttur, on the charge of irregularities committed at the factory.
The suspension order was issued on March 21, sources told The Hindu .
The official was suspended based on an inspection report submitted to the Managing Director of CAMPCO by its Secretary. Besides, a special team of officers constituted to inquire into the charges found prima facie evidence of irregularities at the factory.
CAMPCO is a multi-State cooperative society of Karnataka and Kerala.
