Good show by Indians

BANGALORE, MARCH 29. The Indian team that went to the World Muay Thai championships in Bangkok returned this morning with a gold, two silver and two bronze medals.

Twelve-year-old Kritika M. Jois of Shimoga won gold, her first at the international level, in the paperweight category. Farhana Banu (welterweight) and Sparsha C. Raj (cottonweight) had to settle for silver, despite an impressive showing. On the men's side, Mohd. Bilal Tamkin (flyweight) and Ghukato Achumi (lightweight) won bronze medals.
