Indira Gandhi Stadium Club enters last eight
NEW DELHI,
MARCH 29.
Indira Gandhi Stadium Club made it to the quarterfinals of the all-India Nehru memorial cricket tournament beating Indian Navy by 26 runs here. Former Delhi Ranji player Pankaj Joshi made fine 81 while Farman Ahmed's all-round performance (40 and three for 37) were the key factors in I.G. Stadium's win.
The scores: I.G. Stadium Club 206 in 34.2 overs (Pankaj Joshi 81, Kuldeep Bhardwaj 50, Farman Ahmed 40) bt Indian Navy, Mumbai, 180 in 31.2 overs (D. Mohanti 65, Sudhakar Ghah 40).
