Woman robbed of cash, chain

CHENNAI, MARCH 29. Two persons who came in a two-wheeler robbed a woman of Rs. 60,000 and a gold chain at suburban Tirumullaivoyal, on Monday evening.

According to the police, Ahalya, a resident of Sridevi Nagar, went to a bank at Tirumullaivoyal and withdrew cash. The incident occurred when the woman was returning home around 2.30 p.m. in a two-wheeler.
