KOCHI, MARCH 29. The Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) has cancelled the permits of two driving schools in the city for not having the mandatory infrastructure. The permits of Anil Driving School, Kakkanad, and Surya Driving School, Kadavanthra, were cancelled after the MVD officials conducted an inspection on the premises. The driving schools lacked many basic requirements. The schools will have to ready the infrastructure and apply for new permits. The same name would not be allotted to the agencies if they wanted to restart functioning, a senior officer in the MVD said.
