Harassment of Natya Mandali artiste alleged

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, MARCH 29. Balladeer, Gaddar, on Tuesday charged the Cyberabad police with threatening an artiste of Praja Natya Mandali, Raja Narsimha, to work as police informer after allegedly kidnapping the latter from Dowtown area of Alwal.

"They let off Narsimha only after I took up the matter with the Home Minister, K. Jana Reddy," he told reporters here.

According to the balladeer, some plainclothes policemen intercepted Narsimha while he was travelling on a scooter along with his wife, Jaya, on Monday night. He was allegedly taken to a Cyberabad Inspector who threatened him at gunpoint to work as a police informer or face death.
