stores to

remain open

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 29. All Triveni supermarkets, Neethi stores and Neethi medical stores in the State will remain open on Wednesday and Thursday, according to a release issued by the managing director of the Kerala State Cooperative Consumers Federation Limited.

Milma stalls

Stalls directly run by the Thiruvananthapuram Dairy of Milma will function as usual on all days of the traders' strike against Value-added Tax, a statement issued by the general manager, Thiruvananthapuram Dairy, said.

Dance festival

The Government will take steps to make Kerala Nadanam, the dance form developed by Natyakalanidhi Guru Gopinath, more popular, the Culture Minister, A.P. Anil Kumar, has said. He was inaugurating a three-day dance festival being organised by Guru Gopinath Natanagramam here on Tuesday.

Foundation day

The Bank of Baroda Vallakkadavu branch celebrated its 21st foundation day by arranging a customers' meet. The branch honoured its customers C. G. Balan, group director, LPSC Valiyamala and Kumari Chandrika, winner of several literary awards.

Vacation classes
