Government to prevent poaching of pilots of national carriers

NEW DELHI,
MARCH 30.
Taking a serious view of the ``poaching'' of pilots and technicians of national carriers by private companies, the Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Praful Patel, said the Government would soon convene a meeting to put an end to the practice.
He, however, indicated that the Government would prefer that the issue be settled through consultation.
He was inaugurating a conference on ``Is Aviation Industry on Acceleration Path?," organised by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) here today.
