Andhra athletes for Delhi National camp

HYDERABAD, MARCH 30 . Four athletes from AP have been selected to attend a national coaching camp, which is to be conducted by the AAFI at the J.N. stadium, New Delhi, from April 1.

The camp is being conducted to prepare Indian athletes to take part in the World Youth athletic championships to be held in Morocco from July 15.

Following are the athletes: Trinath Pandla (APSS - 800m), Shivanagaraju (APSS - 400m hurdles), Rama Sarvani (RR Dist - 100m) and M.G. Haritha (RR Dist - 100m).

Also eight junior athletes from the state have been selected to attend another camp for juniors to be held at J.R.D. Sports Complex in Jamshedpur from April 10.

They are Appa Rao (400m), R. Bangariah (400m) and B. Kondalu (all from SAI Medak - 1500m), K. Mrudula (100m), K. Soujanya (both SAI Secunderabad - 100m), V. Prabhavathi (Ananthapr Dist - 1500m), Harihara Kadam (APSS - 100m) and Seetharamaiah (Boys Sports Company Artillery Centre - long jump).

All athletes are instructed to carry their passports with them.
