Gujarat dissidents to meet Advani

By Neena Vyas

NEW DELHI, MARCH 30. The ``big three'' leaders spearheading dissidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party in Gujarat met over lunch today at the residence of the former Union Minister and MP from Surat, Kashiram Rana. Mr. Rana confirmed that he had met the former Gujarat chief ministers, Keshubhai Patel and Suresh Mehta, but denied that the State situation was discussed. He insisted that the invitation had been sent out as a courtesy. ``There is nothing for us to discuss. We will say whatever we have to say directly to the party president, L.K. Advani, when we meet him tomorrow,'' Mr. Rana said.
