22 students debarred

BANGALORE, MARCH 30. Twenty-two second year pre-university students were debarred on Wednesday by the Pre-University Education Department on charges of malpractice during the examinations held for Carnatic Music and Hindustani Music.

Of the malpractice cases, seven were reported from Bijapur, five from Gulbarga, three from Bangalore South, two each from Bidar and Raichur and one each from Bangalore North, Dharwad and Hassan districts, the Director of the department, D.N. Nayak, said in a press release.
