Kalam condoles loss of life in Indonesia quake

NEW DELHI,
MARCH 30.
The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has condoled the loss of life and damage to property and habitat on the island of Nias in Indonesia following the earthquake there on Monday.
In a message to the Indonesian President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Mr. Kalam extended his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved families who have lost their near and dear ones in the quake. The President also said the Indian Government was ready to provide any assistance required by Indonesia.
