Around the City

Partly cloudy sky forecast

The sky will be partly cloudy on Thursday, according to the weather forecast. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 36 and 23 degrees Celsius, respectively. On Wednesday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 35.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 22.1 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 31 per cent. At the airport, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 35.2 and 20.8 degrees Celsius, respectively. The relative humidity was 22 per cent.

Ham course

The Indian Institute of Hams will conduct a short-term course for the grant of ham operating licence by the Union Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. KAS coaching

The Bangalore University Pre-examination Coaching Centre for Competitive Examinations will conduct coaching classes for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and religious minority candidates appearing for the KAS main examinations-2005 conducted by the Karnataka State Public Service Commission. The Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) will also conduct coaching classes for the KAS main examinations-2005. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, backward classes and minority communities can contact the Welfare Officer, BMP, by April 5.
