Dharwad
By Our Special Correspondent
DHARWAD, MARCH 31. Sadguru Seshachala Chidambara Chakravarti, head of the Anand Vana Agadi in Haveri district, has called for a concerted effort to create awareness about the value of Vedic hymns. Speaking on the second day of the Southern Regional Vedic Sammelan here on Tuesday, Mr. Chakravarti said that Vedic hymns are powerful, provided they are rendered in a particular manner. They propound the theory of good, he said, adding that care should be taken to render the hymns in a faultless way. The hymns should be rendered by realising their meaning. Vidwan Ramachandrabhat Kotemane said that only through devotion can one truly understand their meaning. Veni Madhav Joshi said that Indian culture has found prominence among the cultures of the world owing to the Vedas.
