Young Association posts win

NEW DELHI, MARCH 31 . All-rounder performances by Rohit Jagota (54 and three for 35) and Jaswinder Singh (40 and three for 35) helped Young Association beat Super Club by 35 runs in the high-scoring pre-quarterfinal match of the all-India Nehru memorial cricket tournament here.

The scores: Young Association 296 for nine in 35 overs (Rohit Jagota 54, Pramod Bhati 45, Jaswinder Singh 40, Kapil Mehta 34, Ranjit Singh 34, Suraj Negi five for 40) bt Super Club 261 for nine in 35 overs (Anuj Sharma 73 not out, Praveen Choudhary 56, Jag Singh 40, Mohammed Rizvi 40, Jaswinder Singh three for 35, Rohit Jagota three for 35).
